Product Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Portugal.

📋 Description

• Take ownership and deliver results within defined initiatives, driving advancements across platform capabilities.

• Contribute to strategic planning and propose solutions that address platform and reliability challenges in line with business objectives.

• Assist in defining success criteria for features through analytics, research, and competitive analysis.

• Coordinate dependencies across teams and effectively communicate progress, obstacles, and impact to stakeholders and senior product managers.

• Advocate for platform best practices, including observability, reliability, and safe deployment, in collaboration with product and engineering teams.

• Facilitate collaborative workshops for brainstorming, unpacking ideas, and gathering requirements, ensuring actionable plans are established.

• Develop a technical understanding of distributed systems and platform architecture, applying feasibility insights during solution development.

• Establish the long-term vision for the platform and prioritize initiatives that enhance reliability and flexibility.

• Collaborate with engineering and SRE teams to uphold a robust, flexible, and innovative platform that supports product features, market expansion, and both regulatory and commercial requirements.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience in product management with a proven track record of delivery and measurable outcomes, ideally focused on platforms or backend systems.

• Strong analytical abilities; comfortable working with metrics, analyzing data, and suggesting improvements.

• Experience in facilitating workshops, design sprints, and team planning sessions.

• Capability to balance tactical execution with strategic insight.

• Understanding of platform and internal stakeholder needs, developed through research and cross-functional collaboration in technical or infrastructure-focused settings.

• Familiarity with deployment pipelines and observability practices is a plus.

• Ability to collaborate with Engineering and SRE on technical trade-offs is a plus.
