This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Develop and communicate the product vision and roadmap with managerial support.
• Oversee the product throughout its lifecycle, guided by customer requirements, market challenges, and business goals.
• Define and spearhead the vision and implementation of BCLC’s retail digital signage and media network.
• Manage the product roadmap and its lifecycle effectively.
• Enhance digital experiences across the retail network.
• Identify opportunities to increase value for customers, retailers, and the business.
• Articulate the product vision to stakeholders and foster cross-functional relationships.
• Gather, track, and prioritize improvements for the product and its lifecycle.
• Determine the appropriate strategy for product sunsetting, transitioning to end-of-life, replacement, or discontinuation.
• Ensure product delivery aligns with corporate strategy and pinpoint any outcome gaps.
• Report on product-team deliverables, progress, and status to management and stakeholders.
• Recognize risks and opportunities, and create strategies to mitigate risks.
• Lead and manage vendor relationships as needed.
• Define user journeys, product KPIs, and SLAs in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Prepare requirements documentation and documents for regulatory purposes.
• Present product concepts and strategies to leadership for feedback and approval.
• Offer support and guidance to cross-functional teams to address complex delivery challenges.
• A blend of education, experience, and proven skills may be taken into account.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology Management, or a related field.
• 3 to 5 years of relevant professional experience.
• Strong familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools.
• Understanding and experience in vendor management.
• Knowledge of retail technology, digital signage, and/or digital media networks.
• Understanding of data analytics, product performance metrics, and KPI development.
• Proficient technical writing skills, including documentation for reports and procedures.
• Strong strategic thinking and research abilities.
• Capability to identify and alleviate product-development risks.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Ability to influence others without direct authority.
• Advanced skills in business acumen, communication, presentation, interpersonal relations, time management, organization, and multitasking.
• Capacity to convey technical concepts to non-technical users.
• Competence in problem-solving, conflict resolution, and navigating complex organizational issues.
• Leadership skills and change management abilities.
• Preferred qualifications include Product Management certifications, CSPO, PMI-ACP, knowledge of the B.C. gaming industry, and experience in retail media/digital signage.
• Must be at least 19 years old.
• Must be legally authorized to work in Canada.
