Product Management Director – FinTech

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Oversee the development of Screening Add On Services and the strategy for partner integration.

• Engage in product strategy formulation, planning, and execution.

• Direct and guide the product team throughout the complete product lifecycle for enterprise solutions.

• Manage a $20M profit and loss statement with an objective to double it within three years.

• Establish and oversee the value proposition to fulfill revenue, margin, and EBITDA targets.

• Contribute to the long-term growth planning of the business unit.

• Create and oversee the product roadmap along with product backlogs.

• Align development roadmaps across various product groups.

• Act as a liaison between business and technical product delivery teams.

• Collect business requirements and conduct analysis and decision-making.

• Maintain partnerships with both internal and external technology providers.

• Guide the development and enhancement of payment services APIs and their supporting infrastructure.

• Develop business requirements and functional specifications.

• Coordinate product launches with marketing, sales, development, and service teams.

• Collaborate with architects and engineers on product solutions, design documentation, and quality assurance strategies.

• Facilitate user acceptance testing processes.

• Lead reviews of project plans and manage associated risks and issues.

• Gather and evaluate product performance and operational metrics.

• Advise globally distributed teams and update executives and leaders on development progress.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in a technology-related or business discipline is preferred, but not mandatory.

• Equivalent experience may be accepted, with at least 5 years in a business and technical capacity.

• Over 10 years of prior experience in product management.

• Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Experience in building business cases and pro formas.

• Familiarity with reviewing technical solution designs and evaluations.

• Proven track record in gathering user and industry feedback and leading focus groups.

• Expertise in developing business cases, data analytics and reporting, market trend analysis, new product launches, operational readiness, go-to-market strategies, product roadmap creation, and product lifecycle management.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

• Capability to engage with clients and present at industry events.

• Proficient in managing multiple projects and adhering to regular deadlines.

• Ability to lead, work autonomously, take initiative, and guide a high-performing team.

• Strong knowledge of Windows, Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and internet tools.

• Professional demeanor with outstanding interpersonal and presentation skills.

• Experience with Scrum methodologies is highly preferred.

• Familiarity with Team Foundation Server is highly preferred.
