This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take ownership of and enhance the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for MAP Growth literacy solutions.
• Identify investment opportunities within the portfolio across NWEA and HMH solutions.
• Utilize data to make informed tradeoff decisions regarding features, investments, and timelines.
• Manage revenue growth, margin performance, and overall portfolio health.
• Collaborate with Product, Sales, Finance, and Product Marketing to develop pricing and growth strategies.
• Create business cases and track commercial performance metrics.
• Set standards for product discovery, prioritization, and delivery processes.
• Ensure disciplined execution of the roadmap with measurable outcomes in collaboration with Research and Engineering.
• Lead, hire, mentor, and motivate the product management team.
• Establish objectives and promote a collaborative, high-performing team environment.
• Influence cross-functional stakeholders and align teams on priorities and tradeoffs.
• Work together on go-to-market strategies and launch activities.
• Ensure alignment and integration within the broader assessment ecosystem.
• Act as a product subject-matter expert both internally and externally.
• A Bachelor’s degree is required.
• 7–10 years of experience in product management is necessary.
• At least 3 years of experience leading a product team.
• Strong commercial acumen with a proven track record in managing product line financial outcomes.
• Demonstrated ability to define, communicate, and implement product roadmaps through cross-functional collaboration while balancing competing priorities.
• Experience in the education assessment field, particularly in literacy assessment and/or literacy instruction.
• Aptitude for anticipating and making timely decisions that lead to effective products, programs, scalable processes, and business results.
• Skills to build and maintain long-term relationships with customers, colleagues, and industry specialists.
• Excellent communication skills that are clear, concise, and compelling.
• Proven negotiation skills to achieve favorable stakeholder outcomes in complex scenarios.
• Pragmatic product marketing certification or similar is preferred but not required.
• Experience in leading product migration or product integration projects is preferred but not essential.
• Ability to collaborate through in-person meetings, conference calls, and online meetings.
• Willingness to travel for work purposes up to 20%.

• Competitive salary range of $110,000 to $145,000.
