This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France, +4 more countries.
• Oversee the Product Management function for the Medium Voltage Cable Accessories portfolio throughout EMEA and Asia.
• Establish and implement product line strategies and roadmaps that align with customer requirements, market potential, competitive positioning, and the ELIP EMEA strategy.
• Conduct thorough analysis of Medium Voltage cable accessories markets, utility specifications, qualification processes, customer applications, market entry routes, and competitive environments.
• Manage the complete product lifecycle, which includes new product development, product launches, profitability enhancement, portfolio optimization, pricing strategies, and phase-out processes.
• Convert customer and market insights into product specifications, business cases, and development priorities in collaboration with R&D.
• Create and implement product launch and market entry strategies in partnership with Market Development and Sales teams.
• Track product line performance metrics such as orders, revenue, profitability, portfolio health, and sales of new products.
• Assess strategic partnerships and explore potential M&A opportunities.
• Coordinate efforts among Sales, Marketing, R&D, Operations, Finance, and Market Development teams.
• Mentor, coach, and develop Product Managers.
• Ensure adherence to ABB policies and regulatory standards regarding safety, integrity, quality, and sustainability.
• A minimum of 7 years of experience in Product Management, Product Line Management, New Product Development, Business Development, or similar roles within the electrification sector.
• Demonstrated experience with Medium Voltage products is essential.
• Preferred experience in MV cable accessories, utility markets, and power distribution applications.
• Strong grasp of customer requirements, market dynamics, industry trends, utility qualification processes, and the ability to translate these into product priorities and business opportunities.
• Proven experience in managing product portfolios, overseeing product lifecycle activities, launching new products, and developing go-to-market strategies.
• Capability to influence and align cross-functional teams, including Sales, Marketing, R&D, Operations, and Finance, in a global setting.
• Strong analytical skills and a data-driven approach.
• Leadership experience in coaching, developing, and motivating product management teams.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, business, or a relevant field.
