This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona.
β’ Develop and implement the enterprise Infrastructure as Code strategy, along with the associated standards, governance, and adoption roadmap.
β’ Create, enhance, and sustain scalable infrastructure automation solutions across various hosted platforms.
β’ Construct reusable modules, templates, blueprints, and self-service automation functionalities.
β’ Utilize technologies such as Ansible, Terraform/OpenTofu, Puppet, Rundeck, Python, or similar for automation development.
β’ Incorporate AI-assisted engineering practices and Specification-Driven Design methodologies.
β’ Enforce responsible AI practices, security measures, governance, and risk management within the enterprise automation frameworks.
β’ Design and create APIs and integrations for infrastructure orchestration, provisioning, and platform services.
β’ Propel CI/CD, security, compliance, testing, and deployment automation in infrastructure delivery.
β’ Collaborate with platform product teams to enhance IaC adoption and develop infrastructure capabilities into products.
β’ Generate documentation, reference architectures, training materials, and enablement programs.
β’ Utilize knowledge across compute, networking, storage, security, identity, cloud, and infrastructure services to deliver platform products and enhance operational resilience.
β’ Work closely with platform, server, security, networking, and application teams to transition from manual to automated, software-defined infrastructure delivery.
β’ This role does not include supervisory responsibilities.
β’ In-depth knowledge of Infrastructure as Code principles, patterns, and engineering methodologies.
β’ Proficient in continuous collaborative pair programming to address technical challenges.
β’ Significant experience in creating infrastructure automation solutions using Ansible, Terraform/OpenTofu, Env0, Puppet, or similar platforms.
β’ Proven track record of establishing and scaling enterprise infrastructure automation projects.
β’ Strong software engineering focus that prioritizes maintainability, testing, version control, and automation.
β’ Experience in designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure deployments.
β’ Familiarity with Git-based development workflows, including branching strategies, pull requests, and code review processes.
β’ Experience in developing reusable modules, templates, and shared automation services.
β’ Profound understanding of cloud infrastructure, networking, security, identity management, and platform services.
β’ Demonstrated capability to influence engineering teams and promote adherence to technical standards.
β’ Exceptional communication and stakeholder management abilities.
β’ Competence in balancing strategic thinking with hands-on technical execution.
β’ Experience with integrating LLMs, MCPs, AI agents, Copilot technologies, or workflow automation platforms into infrastructure engineering solutions is a plus.
β’ Experience in building AI-native infrastructure platforms is also a plus.
β’ Experience in enabling self-service capabilities through platform engineering or developer platforms is advantageous.
β’ A minimum of 5 years of experience is preferred.
β’ Candidates selected for the role must undergo a background investigation.
