Product Engineer, Full Stack

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Uruguay.

📋 Description

• Create and develop scalable technology solutions that facilitate the growth of Trafilea and enhance the Trafilea Engine.

• Implement new functionalities and consistently enhance existing systems with a focus on internal APIs and infrastructure.

• Produce clean, maintainable, and efficient code suitable for high-scale environments.

• Recognize technical debt, inefficiencies, and bottlenecks, then devise and apply effective solutions.

• Enhance system performance, reliability, security, and scalability.

• Participate in technical planning, architecture discussions, and code reviews.

• Ensure observability through practices such as logging, monitoring, alerting, and debugging.

• Document technical solutions to foster cross-team collaboration.

• Assist in shaping the backlog and align technical decisions and KPIs with product and business objectives.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 4 years of professional experience in software development, showcasing strong Full Stack capabilities in building and maintaining production-quality applications.

• Proficient backend development experience using Node.js / NestJS or similar technologies.

• Strong frontend development expertise with React / Next.js.

• Advanced skills in JavaScript and TypeScript.

• Extensive experience in designing and developing REST APIs.

• Practical experience with AWS services and cloud-based environments.

• In-depth understanding of software architecture, scalability patterns, performance optimization, and system reliability.

• Experience with automated testing methodologies, including unit, integration, and end-to-end testing.

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, modern development workflows, and engineering quality standards.

• Experience with observability in production systems, including monitoring, logging, debugging, and pinpointing technical debt and performance bottlenecks.
