Product Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants anywhere in the world.

• Develop and expand systems that support SafetyWing's global social safety net.

• Design clean and scalable solutions utilizing state-of-the-art technologies.

• Contribute to the evolution of the company's products and processes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong expertise in backend development using Java (Kotlin is a significant plus).

• Practical experience in developing backend services for products with clean and scalable code.

• Familiarity with TypeScript, React, and Next.js.

• Comprehensive understanding of the product development lifecycle, covering requirements gathering, system design, implementation, testing, deployment, and maintenance.

• A genuine curiosity for new technologies and a desire to integrate them into your work.

• An openness to experimentation, even if it involves the risk of failure.

• Intellectual curiosity and a willingness to embrace new ideas.
