This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
• Take ownership of the P&L, revenue enhancement, margin improvement, and overall financial success of the Hydrochloric Acid product line.
• Create and implement portfolio strategies that align with the organization's growth and profitability goals.
• Lead strategic supplier partnerships, manage contract negotiations, initiate sourcing efforts, develop pricing strategies, and oversee rebate programs.
• Recognize and leverage market trends, establish new supplier relationships, and identify business development opportunities.
• Collaborate with sales leadership to enhance commercial strategy, increase market penetration, and promote profitable growth across all business lines.
• Influence and coordinate cross-functional teams to meet portfolio goals and achieve business outcomes.
• Evaluate financial, market, and competitive data to inform strategic choices and investment priorities.
• Act as the executive subject matter expert for the portfolio, providing insights and recommendations to senior leadership regarding growth prospects, market threats, and supplier strategies.
• Over 10 years of progressive experience in commercial leadership roles encompassing product management, strategic sourcing, business development, sales leadership, or marketing.
• Proven accountability for a significant P&L, which includes oversight of revenue, pricing, profitability, and portfolio performance.
• Demonstrated expertise in leading supplier strategies, negotiating contracts, and fostering strategic partnerships.
• Strong executive presence with the capability to influence senior leaders, suppliers, and customers effectively.
• Comprehensive knowledge of chemical distribution, specialty chemicals, or chemical manufacturing sectors.
• Robust financial acumen with a focus on portfolio management, pricing strategy, margin optimization, and business analytics.
• A successful track record in developing and implementing growth strategies that yield measurable business outcomes.
• Experience in Chlor-Alkali commercial activities is preferred.
