Product Design Lead – Design System

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Lead and oversee a small group of product designers, ensuring effective project prioritization, team cohesion, and timely delivery of high-quality design outputs.

• Mentor and motivate the team through regular critiques, coaching sessions, constructive feedback, continuous learning, and skill enhancement.

• Manage project timelines, roadmaps, and design workflows efficiently.

• Directly contribute to significant design initiatives while balancing leadership obligations.

• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and executives to convert strategic objectives into user-friendly design solutions.

• Promote user-centered design by utilizing qualitative and quantitative research, usability testing, and behavioral insights.

• Maintain design consistency and scalability through the application of design systems and atomic design principles.

• Advocate for accessibility and inclusive design practices.

• Work with analytics and product teams to assess design effectiveness and enhance user experiences based on data insights.

• A robust portfolio showcasing leadership in design teams and the delivery of end-to-end product design solutions across various platforms, supported by user research and measurable outcomes.

• Proven experience in leading and nurturing design teams, encouraging collaboration, mentorship, and performance-driven development.

• Strong expertise in UX/UI principles, interaction design, and user research methods.

• A successful history of delivering results-oriented digital products.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

• Capability to influence cross-functional teams and promote design advocacy at all organizational levels.
