Senior Product Designer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the experience design for CodePath's learning platform, encompassing flows, navigation, and interactions.

• Manage CodePath's design system, which includes interaction patterns, components, and established standards.

• Create comprehensive user flows, navigation paths, and information architecture for the platform.

• Produce documentation in the form of wireframes and specifications for engineers to utilize.

• Conduct light product discovery sessions with students, staff members, and internal stakeholders.

• Collaborate with product managers on prioritized projects and work with engineers to address design inquiries.

• Supervise the work of a UI design contractor.

• Establish and uphold high standards for experience quality throughout the product.

• Possibly design the Learner Hub, AI-driven learning tools, and key areas of the platform such as accounts, onboarding, and navigation.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 6 years of experience designing web products from start to finish, with a portfolio demonstrating your thought process on flows and structure.

• Proficient in information architecture and interaction design.

• Experience conducting your own discovery sessions with users and stakeholders.

• Background in developing a design system.

• Ability to produce engineer-ready artifacts (wireframes, prototypes, specifications) using Figma or a similar tool.

• Capable of navigating ambiguity and thriving in small team environments.

• Sufficient front-end knowledge (HTML, CSS, Tailwind) to work closely with engineers and assess feasibility.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
