Senior/Lead Product Designer – Qualified, AI Products

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.

📋 Description

• Develop Piper’s AI brain interface for comprehending leads, creating strategies, articulating reasoning, and shaping personality, objectives, and handling objections.

• Design Piper’s live chat and video functionality, encompassing micro-interactions, latency management, turn-taking, and tone adjustments.

• Create design standards for autonomous agents in the realm of enterprise sales.

• Prototype using code or AI tools.

• Deliver design decisions rather than simply documenting them.

• Collaborate closely with engineering and machine learning teams.

• Identify problems in conjunction with potential solutions.

• Engage directly with leadership to influence product strategy.

• Manage projects from problem identification through to delivery.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 6 years of experience in product design.

• At least 2 years of experience focused on AI or conversational interfaces.

• Knowledge of LLM behavior, including aspects like latency, streaming, confidence, and failure modes.

• Proficiency in AI tools as an integral part of the role.

• Strong skills in visual and interaction design.

• Ability to define problems without needing a comprehensive brief.

• Work collaboratively with engineering and machine learning teams.

• Background in voice, video, or real-time communication design (preferred).

• Familiarity with enterprise sales or CRM processes (preferred).

• Experience in designing multi-step autonomous workflows (preferred).
