Product Design Lead – Design System

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Oversee and direct a small team of product designers.

• Prioritize projects, unify the team, and ensure the timely production of high-caliber design outputs.

• Mentor and motivate designers through critiques, coaching, feedback, learning opportunities, and skill enhancement.

• Manage timelines, project roadmaps, and design workflows effectively.

• Actively contribute to essential design projects.

• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, executives, and other stakeholders to convert strategic objectives into user-friendly solutions.

• Advocate for user-centered design by employing qualitative and quantitative research, usability testing, and behavioral insights.

• Maintain design consistency and scalability through design systems and atomic design principles.

• Promote accessibility and inclusive design practices.

• Work alongside analytics and product teams to assess design impact and enhance experiences based on data insights.

• Engage in portfolio reviews, recruiter calls, senior leadership interviews, design leadership challenges, and final executive discussions.

• Experience in leading and nurturing design teams.

• Proficiency in UX/UI principles, interaction design, and user research methodologies.

• A proven history of delivering results-oriented digital products.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

• Capacity to influence cross-functional teams and advocate for design initiatives.

• A strategic mindset with the ability to convert product goals into scalable, adaptable, user-centric solutions.

• Experience in managing design workflows, tools, and operational processes.

• Ability to juggle multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.

• Background in fintech or SaaS sectors.

• Strong comprehension of financial products, compliance, security, and designing for trust.
