This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take ownership of the timeline and delivery for the topicals innovation program and additional product development initiatives as capacity permits.
• Create and uphold project plans, critical paths, and milestone schedules from the concept stage through to commercialization.
• Manage stage-gate execution by coordinating project kickoffs, milestone reviews, risk assessments, and post-mortems.
• Proactively identify and communicate risks, dependencies, and obstacles to leadership.
• Monitor resource allocation and maintain visibility of capacity across teams involved in topicals innovation.
• Convert the strategic roadmap into a phased, resourced execution strategy.
• Track and relay project progress through timely updates, status reports, readouts, and launch readiness assessments.
• Ensure there is a single source of truth for project status, decisions, risks, and changes.
• Utilize project management tools such as Asana, Smartsheet, Monday, Wrike, Airtable, and Jira.
• Employ AI-enabled tools and automation for reporting, risk detection, document generation, meeting summaries, and resource forecasting.
• Contribute to dashboards and reporting metrics on cycle time, timely delivery, scope changes, and resource utilization.
• Implement project management standards, templates, RACI models, and stage-gate playbooks.
• Collaborate with teams across Product Development, Marketing, R&D, Creative, Regulatory, Clinical, Supply Chain, Operations, Finance, Sales, and external vendors/co-manufacturers.
• Foster accountability, clarity, and forward progress within the topicals project team.
• A Bachelor's degree is required.
• 3–5+ years of experience in project or program management, preferably with cross-functional product development experience in a CPG, beauty, wellness, healthcare, or consumer goods setting.
• Familiarity with FDA, FTC, and regulatory aspects pertinent to the development of supplements, wellness, beauty, or healthcare products is advantageous.
• CAPM, PMP, or a similar certification is a plus (not mandatory).
• Experience in supporting or executing multi-workstream product launches on time, within budget, and according to scope.
• Proficient in project management tools (Asana, Smartsheet, Monday, Wrike, Airtable, Jira, MS Project, etc.).
• Interest or experience in utilizing AI, automation, and productivity technologies to enhance workflows and reporting.
• Strong understanding of project planning, resource management, risk tracking, and budget oversight.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and capacity to advance projects amidst uncertainty.
• Strong communication and facilitation skills, able to engage with both strategic and tactical stakeholders.
