Procurement Systems – Digitisation Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Europe.

📋 Description

• Take ownership and enhance the Group Procurement application landscape.

• Serve as the business owner and subject matter expert for Spend & Performance Management, Savings Management, Contract Repository, and eRFx solutions.

• Create and uphold the Procurement systems roadmap.

• Consolidate, align, and prioritize development requests effectively.

• Ensure applications adapt to evolving Procurement processes and business requirements.

• Assess, develop, and implement system enhancements, upgrades, or replacement solutions.

• Oversee the budget for Procurement applications.

• Provide support and guidance to divisional super users on a global scale.

• Establish data definitions, governance principles, business rules, and user manuals.

• Define and execute master data structures for organization, category, and supplier information.

• Lead Procurement Systems Forums.

• Manage Procurement systems projects from the business case stage through implementation and user adoption.

• Convert business requirements into functional specifications.

• Develop project plans, timelines, resource needs, and stakeholder engagement strategies.

• Propel project execution within defined scope, quality, and timelines.

• Conduct first-level business testing and coordinate super user acceptance testing.

• Champion Procurement digitization and automation initiatives.

• Implement automated data quality controls and governance processes.

• Lead pilots for automated Procurement reporting and Procure-to-Pay automation.

• Evaluate AI and emerging technologies for business enhancement.

• Drive pilot implementations and scale successful solutions across the organization.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Engineering, Information Systems, Procurement, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline.

• Extensive experience in strategic procurement, procurement excellence, procurement systems, or a similar role.

• Strong comprehension of Procurement processes, systems, and data structures.

• Experience in owning, developing, or managing business applications.

• Proven project management expertise, including requirements definition, stakeholder engagement, testing, and implementation.

• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret large datasets, data logic, and system architecture.

• Experience in transforming business requirements into practical and scalable system solutions.

• Capability to work effectively across functions, cultures, and organizational levels in a decentralized international environment.

• Strong communication, presentation, and influencing abilities.

• Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.

• A structured, proactive, and tenacious approach.

• Practical problem-solving skills.

• Ability to engage in strategic discussions, business requirements, system design, testing, and implementation.
