Procurement Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Oversee the procurement of food, beverages, kitchen supplies, and operational materials.

• Identify and liaise with vendors to gather quotes, pricing, and availability details.

• Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers effectively.

• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate replenishment efforts to avert shortages.

• Track purchase orders and follow up with vendors regarding deliveries.

• Review invoices, orders, and delivery documents for precision and accuracy.

• Maintain precise records of vendors, pricing, and procurement activities.

• Collaborate remotely with dining, kitchen, operations, and finance teams.

• Ensure products comply with necessary quality and food-service standards.

• Identify potential cost-saving opportunities and enhancements in purchasing processes.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management.

• Experience in food service, hospitality, healthcare, or dining operations is preferred.

• Strong skills in vendor management and negotiation.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and procurement software.

• Excellent organizational, communication, and follow-up abilities.

• Capability to work independently and handle multiple priorities in a remote work setup.

• Availability to work Monday to Friday, from 08:30 AM to 05:30 PM US Eastern Standard Time (EST).

• Access to a reliable computer and noise-cancelling headset.

• A second monitor is recommended for improved productivity.

• Stable internet connection is essential.

• A backup internet connection is also required.
