This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
• Lead the creation and execution of sourcing strategies for both categories and sub-categories of goods and services, especially in the realm of facilities management.
• Collaborate with senior stakeholders to grasp business needs and convert them into effective sourcing plans and processes.
• Serve as a subject matter expert by providing guidance on procurement policies, processes, and best practices to various business units.
• Oversee end-to-end sourcing operations, ensuring timely delivery, adherence to budget constraints, and effective risk management.
• Cultivate and sustain relationships with key suppliers while identifying new partnerships.
• Ensure compliance with organizational sourcing protocols throughout the procurement lifecycle.
• Develop, administer, and refine category or sub-category strategy plans and sourcing pipelines.
• Manage contract administration, documentation, reporting, and materials for management review.
• Utilize Jaggaer, Corrigo, CMMS systems, SAP, and other procurement tools to oversee purchase orders, supplier data, and inventory-related tasks.
• Work alongside cross-functional teams to address sourcing requirements for facilities management and resolve procurement challenges.
• Assess supplier proposals, negotiate terms, and put forth recommended sourcing solutions.
• At least 3 years of relevant contract and sourcing experience, preferably in the facilities management sector.
• Over 5 years of experience in contract administration.
• Proven track record in procurement or purchasing, encompassing sourcing techniques and supply chain management.
• Hands-on experience with Jaggaer procurement systems is essential.
• Practical experience with Corrigo and CMMS platforms is required.
• Familiarity with purchase orders, SAP, and inventory management processes.
• Exceptional communication skills with the capability to engage and influence senior stakeholders.
• Strong interpersonal and negotiation abilities for managing supplier relationships and contract negotiations.
• Robust analytical and decision-making skills to facilitate strategic sourcing and supplier evaluation.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, or a related field is necessary.
• Experience with Corrigo and Aravo is highly advantageous.
• Prior experience in facilities management is strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of supply chain management concepts and best practices is required.
• Capacity to work independently in a remote setting while juggling multiple sourcing projects and priorities.
• Proficiency with virtual collaboration tools and engaging stakeholders remotely.
• Experience functioning as an internal consultant on procurement processes and compliance is beneficial.
