This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Cyprus, +2 more countries.
• Oversee the complete procurement and contract lifecycle for connectivity and data center services.
• Engage in market exploration, supplier sourcing, assessment, negotiation, onboarding, execution, and performance monitoring.
• Ensure timely contract renewals and renegotiations to prevent service interruptions.
• Promote contract adherence, enforce service level agreements (SLAs), and implement corrective measures.
• Maintain a contract calendar that includes renewals, extensions, and opportunities for savings.
• Prepare RFx documents, assess suppliers, and make recommendations for awards.
• Keep a repository of current and potential service providers.
• Coordinate supplier onboarding and liaise with internal stakeholders to ensure timely service implementation.
• Ensure procurement transactions align with internal policies and are thoroughly documented.
• Assist and coordinate the operational workload of the procurement team.
• Monitor, validate, and report on cost savings derived from renegotiations and sourcing efforts.
• Identify opportunities for total cost of ownership optimization.
• Collaborate with legal, finance, operations, and technical teams.
• Suggest and implement enhancements to procurement processes.
• Contribute to sourcing strategies for critical service categories.
• Develop, execute, and monitor procurement key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in the data center, colocation, cloud infrastructure, telecom, or related sectors.
• Strong understanding of colocation and data center services.
• Excellent communication and relationship management abilities.
• Capability to manage multiple sourcing requests concurrently.
• Strong organizational skills and coordination capabilities.
• Commercial acumen and meticulous attention to detail.
• Ability to work autonomously in a dynamic environment.
• Proactive and relationship-focused approach to market engagement and supplier management.
• Existing connections with colocation providers or data center operators are preferred.
• Experience in supporting infrastructure sourcing or colocation sales activities is preferred.
• Familiarity with major global data center markets is preferred.
• Exposure to enterprise or large-scale infrastructure settings is preferred.
• Experience in customer-facing or commercially oriented infrastructure roles is preferred.
