Vendor Management Commercial Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Oversee a team responsible for order entry and Vendor Management, which includes opening title and settlement orders, reviewing property details, and requesting title search products from vendors.

• Cultivate and maintain robust relationships with vendors while regularly assessing their performance.

• Address issues swiftly and ensure the Vendor Management team adheres to quality control standards.

• Recruit, evaluate, and onboard new search vendors to guarantee sufficient coverage across all states.

• Negotiate vendor pricing through agreements and individual orders as needed.

• Inspect new orders for accuracy and completeness.

• Analyze commercial and residential property data to verify parcel, property tax, and vesting information.

• Ensure that the Vendor Management team meets or surpasses service level standards for placing and receiving title search orders.

• Directly manage the proper setup of large, intricate commercial portfolio files.

• Work in tandem with the KV Production team to secure all necessary documents from search vendors for issuing title reports and commitments.

• Collaborate across departments with management teams to assess workflows and enhance operational efficiency.

• Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, carrier guidelines, and internal protocols.

• Serve as a liaison among abstractors, branches, carriers, and internal departments.


⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in the title insurance sector.

• At least 5 years of experience in title examination, commitment production, or title vendor management.

• Familiarity with SoftPro Select is advantageous.

• Exceptional time management capabilities.

• Strong work ethic with the capacity to thrive in both team-oriented and self-directed settings.

• Detail-oriented and professional; capable of managing confidential information.

• High level of accountability.

• Customer service-focused.

• Creative in problem-solving.

• Effective communication skills (both written and verbal).

• Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks concurrently.

• Fluency in the English language is mandatory.
