This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +31 more states.
• Oversee procurement activities throughout the procure-to-pay and source-to-pay processes, which includes reviewing contracts and statements of work, onboarding vendors, managing purchase orders, and other related procurement tasks.
• Collaborate with various departments to assess and define purchasing requirements while offering guidance during the procurement journey.
• Facilitate and lead competitive sourcing initiatives, such as developing and executing RFPs, RFQs, and RFIs, as well as evaluating vendor proposals.
• Assist in drafting contracts and negotiating terms, pricing, payment conditions, scopes of work, and other business agreements in coordination with Legal and other stakeholders.
• Identify areas for enhancing vendor pricing, commercial terms, and overall value through competitive sourcing, negotiation, and spend analysis.
• Generate and manage purchase requisitions and purchase orders, addressing any outstanding purchase order commitments.
• Handle procurement inquiries, providing prompt support to both internal stakeholders and vendors.
• Monitor procurement workflows and service levels, addressing any bottlenecks or escalations that arise.
• Collaborate with Accounts Payable, business owners, and vendors to resolve invoice holds related to purchase orders.
• Support vendor management initiatives, focusing on supplier performance, vendor spending optimization, supplier diversity, and opportunities for AI technology enhancement.
• Maintain procurement data, documentation, catalogs, and other information to ensure efficient operations and robust internal controls.
• Enhance procurement processes, systems, workflows, documentation, and automation efforts.
• Work in partnership with Finance & Administration, Legal, and other departments to meet month-end requirements and support Foundation-wide initiatives.
• Complete additional procurement projects as assigned on an ad hoc basis.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain Management, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
• At least 5+ years of progressive experience in procurement, sourcing, and contract drafting.
• Proven experience managing procurement activities within the procure-to-pay and/or source-to-pay lifecycle.
• Experience in supporting or leading competitive sourcing efforts, including RFPs, RFQs, or vendor evaluations.
• Proficient in negotiating vendor pricing and commercial terms.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Familiarity with procurement business platforms and ERP systems.
• Valid work authorization in the hiring location for non-US employees.
• Capability to manage multiple competing priorities and deadlines in a dynamic, global environment.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
• High attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining accurate, well-controlled processes.
