This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.

📋 Description

• Provide mid-level compliance support for acquisitions to the FDIC’s Acquisition Services Branch.

• Review and assess acquisition documentation within CEFile in line with the QA/IC Program Plan.

• Maintain meticulous compliance and documentation activities with a strong focus on detail.

• Prepare and deliver weekly, monthly, quarterly, and ad-hoc reports to ASB management.

• Process FOIA, audit, and ad-hoc data requests by extracting necessary documentation from CEFile.

• Conduct thorough investigative reviews of contract files to locate pertinent documents, regardless of their labeling or location.

• Utilize contracting and procurement expertise to determine which materials are relevant for compliance review.

• Create professional reports that summarize the findings from contract file examinations for leadership oversight and decision-making.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field, management, or legal studies.

• A minimum of ten (10) years of direct procurement experience in either the federal government or private sector.

• Must possess Public Trust clearance.

• Experience with GSA Schedules, GWACs, and MA IDIQs is required.

• Knowledge and practical experience with acquisition management principles throughout the entire contract lifecycle, from pre-award to closeout.

• Proven experience managing various contract types for supplies and services, including FFP/LOE, T&M, FFP, CPFF, CPIF, and CPAF.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

• Ability to foresee challenges, implement processes to prevent issues, and manage administrative workflows on behalf of management.

• Capable of effective collaboration in high-pressure environments and building productive internal and external relationships.

• Ability to set a positive example for teamwork, proactively address misunderstandings, expand work relationships, and influence outcomes.

• Selected candidate must live within the Washington, D.C. Metro Area.

• Preferred: Master’s Degree in a business-related field, management, or legal studies.

• Preferred: At least ten (10) years of direct procurement experience in contract management with an emphasis on quality assurance and implementation.

• Preferred: Certified Procurement Professional (CPP) or similar certification in government procurement practices, such as FAC Professional or FAC-C Level 1 or equivalent.
