📋 Description

• Negotiate incoming contracts centered on technology products, including IaaS, SaaS, and PaaS, to secure beneficial terms

• Analyze software and technology platforms to comprehend usage, cost drivers, and ROI

• Act as a trusted advisor to internal teams regarding the acquisition of technology tools

• Collaborate with internal teams to formulate strategies for renewals and new technology needs

• Source and engage dependable suppliers and vendors

• Provide RFI and RFP assistance to internal stakeholders

• Work alongside IT, Legal, and Security to ensure terms comply with legal, regulatory, data security, and privacy standards

• Support vendor qualification and onboarding processes

• Identify and implement potential cost savings

• Develop and maintain vendor relationships while overseeing negotiations to achieve savings and value

⛳️ Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in a technical procurement position

• SaaS experience is mandatory

• Self-motivated, enthusiastic, and entrepreneurial mindset

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage and collaborate with diverse groups

• Strong negotiation and problem-solving capabilities with a history of successfully completing six-figure, multi-year contracts

• Solid interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport

• Proficient time management and planning abilities to coordinate and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously while adapting to changing business needs

• Technically knowledgeable, demonstrating a high level of proficiency in core SaaS technologies and trends

• Familiarity with Zip and Ironclad is an advantage

• Ability to exhibit a strategic mindset to facilitate persuasive value discussions with vendors at an executive level

• Strong operational understanding of the technology supply chain, including purchase ordering, expense reporting, procurement/sourcing, provisioning and reclamation, renewals, and contract management
