This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.
β’ Analyze vendor expenditures to uncover trends, cost drivers, opportunities for consolidation, tail spend, and potential risks.
β’ Create and manage dashboards and reports on category performance, contract usage, renewal schedules, compliance, and vendor performance.
β’ Gather, cleanse, and interpret procurement and contract data to generate actionable insights and executive-ready summaries.
β’ Assist in category planning, sourcing events, RFP evaluations, and vendor selection by providing analysis and recommendations.
β’ Offer analytical support for vendor and contract negotiations through financial summaries, usage analysis, benchmarking, and cost modeling.
β’ Monitor contract milestones, renewal dates, supplier performance, and contractual obligations in collaboration with the Contracts Manager.
β’ Perform market and category research on pricing trends, market developments, and supplier risks.
β’ Contribute to forecasting, benchmarking, budget tracking, and total cost of ownership analysis.
β’ Maintain procurement and contract data while enhancing data governance.
β’ Streamline workflows and reporting across the Source-to-Pay lifecycle, including the automation of recurring reports.
β’ Assist in the development of KPI frameworks, procurement procedures, and compliance reporting.
β’ Proven experience in procurement, sourcing, category management, finance, data analytics, or contract operations, demonstrating individual contributions to relevant projects or outcomes.
β’ Advanced proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables, XLOOKUP or INDEX/MATCH, data cleansing and transformation, and basic financial modeling.
β’ Strong background in analyzing and interpreting data, encompassing trend and variance analysis, data validation, and integrity controls.
β’ Experience in creating reports or dashboards using Power BI, Tableau, an equivalent BI tool, or advanced Excel reporting models.
β’ Familiarity with procurement, contract management, ERP, vendor management, P2P, or S2P systems.
β’ Understanding of total cost of ownership, spend categorization, budget and variance reporting, supplier performance, and basic cost modeling.
β’ Knowledge of service agreements and pricing models such as fixed-fee, time-and-materials, subscription, or milestone-based pricing.
β’ Capability to transform raw data into clear visual reports and actionable recommendations.
β’ Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
β’ Open-minded, collaborative approach with a readiness to explore new tools and effective working methods.
