This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Accelerate the processing of open orders by collaborating closely with suppliers and buyers to guarantee timely delivery of purchase orders.

• Ensure that delivery dates are updated and achievable within the system.

• Engage with suppliers to uphold industry-leading On-Time delivery standards.

• Coordinate part requirements and product necessities among Program Management, Program Finance, Engineering, and Material Managers/Planning.

• Address invoice discrepancies to ensure prompt payments to suppliers.

• Maintain files, logs, invoice records, purchase orders, and other relevant documentation.

• Manage information on computer systems efficiently.

• Provide support in expediting orders.

• Assist buyers in reaching out to vendors to gather pricing information and schedule delivery dates.

• Prepare standard requests for quotations and purchase requisitions.

• Manage pricing adjustments, order cancellations, discontinued items, acceptable substitutes, delivery date changes, invoice discrepancies, and change order logs.

⛳️ Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent, with at least 4 years of relevant experience, or 2 years of post-secondary/Associates Degree with 0 to 2 years of related experience.

• Capability to obtain a US security clearance.

• Excellent organizational skills.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.

• Strong communication abilities.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.

• Familiarity with FAR/DFAR procurement processes.

• Prior experience using MRP systems.

• Occasional local travel may be necessary, up to 10%.
