This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Minnesota.

📋 Description

• Act as the main operational liaison for designated supplier, toller, and manufacturer relationships.

• Manage regular communications, updates, and resolution of issues.

• Prepare and process purchase orders along with related actions in the ERP system.

• Monitor order confirmations, lead times, shipment schedules, and delivery statuses, escalating potential risks promptly.

• Oversee supplier programs and identify rebate possibilities.

• Organize activities related to raw materials, ingredients, packaging, and production readiness.

• Collaborate with third-party manufacturing and packaging partners to ensure consistent supply and timely production.

• Consolidate supply requirements from product owners and identify gaps or timing risks for forecasting purposes.

• Manage logistics scheduling, including load scheduling and coordination of dispatching activities.

• Facilitate the inbound and outbound movement of raw materials and finished products.

• Coordinate shipment schedules and handoffs for direct loads and warehouse fulfillment.

• Submit and manage Focus Product and raw-material orders in D365 and organize logistics scheduling.

• Assist with new SKU approvals and add SKUs in D365 when applicable.

• Support ERP invoice receiving, validation, and handover processes.

• Monitor inventory levels, open orders, and projected needs to minimize stockouts and excess inventory.

• Maintain exception logs and drive the resolution of production, availability, and shipment challenges.

• Develop and maintain weekly inventory status reports, open orders, and key risk assessments.

• Address incomplete order requests, minimum-order requirements, missing shipping data, and packaging discrepancies.

• Keep documentation and standard work protocols up to date.

• Enhance processes to promote self-service and decrease rework and last-minute issues.

• Assist in the onboarding and training of new team members.


⛳️ Requirements

• High School diploma or GED is required.

• At least 2 years of experience in supply chain, procurement, logistics, production coordination, operations, agriculture, or a related area.

• A Bachelor's degree is preferred in supply chain, operations, business, agriculture, or a comparable field, or equivalent practical experience.

• Experience with an ERP system is necessary.

• Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple competing priorities in a seasonal, deadline-driven environment.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.

• Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) is essential.

• Experience with Power BI is advantageous.

• Background in supporting contract manufacturing partners, production planning, packaging coordination, or raw material readiness is preferred.

• Knowledge of agriculture, crop protection, nutrients, adjuvants, or proprietary products is desirable.

• Understanding of manufacturer programs, including early order initiatives, inventory protection, return/exchange offers, and quarterly promotions, along with related purchasing functions.

• Previous experience in supplier, toller, or vendor interactions and relationship management.

• Ability to create repeatable process documentation and standard work procedures.

• Selected candidates must successfully complete required pre-employment screenings, which may include drug tests, criminal background checks, motor vehicle checks, physical requirements, and FMCSA Clearinghouse evaluations.
