This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Minnesota.
• Act as the main operational liaison for designated suppliers, tollers, and manufacturers.
• Facilitate regular communications, updates, and resolve any issues that arise.
• Prepare and process purchase orders along with related ERP actions.
• Monitor order confirmations, lead times, shipment schedules, and delivery statuses; escalate potential risks.
• Oversee supplier programs and identify rebate opportunities.
• Manage the readiness of raw materials, ingredients, packaging, and production.
• Collaborate with third-party manufacturing and packaging partners to ensure consistent supply and timely production.
• Consolidate supply requirements for forecasting and identify any gaps or timing risks.
• Take responsibility for logistics scheduling, including coordination of load scheduling and dispatching.
• Oversee the inbound and outbound movement of raw materials and finished products.
• Manage shipment timing and transitions for direct loads and warehouse fulfillment.
• Submit and process Focus Product and raw material orders in D365, along with scheduling logistics.
• Assist in the approval of new SKUs and add SKUs in D365 as needed.
• Aid in the receiving, validation, and processing of ERP invoices.
• Keep track of inventory levels, open orders, and future needs.
• Maintain logs of exceptions and work towards resolving production, availability, and shipment risks.
• Create weekly summaries of inventory status, open orders, and significant risks.
• Address incomplete order requests, minimum order requirements, missing shipping information, and packaging discrepancies.
• Maintain documentation and standard operating procedures.
• Enhance processes to minimize friction, rework, and last-minute complications.
• Support the onboarding and training of new team members.
• High School diploma or GED is required.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in supply chain, procurement, logistics, production coordination, operations, agriculture, or a related field.
• A Bachelor's degree in supply chain, operations, business, agriculture, or a related field is preferred, or equivalent practical experience.
• Proficiency in working with an ERP system is necessary.
• Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to juggle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel is required.
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) is advantageous.
• Knowledge of Power BI is preferred.
• Experience in supporting contract manufacturing partners, production planning, packaging coordination, or raw material readiness is beneficial.
• Background in agriculture, crop protection, nutrients, adjuvants, or proprietary products is a plus.
• Understanding of manufacturer programs and related purchasing functions is important.
• Prior experience in supplier, toller, or vendor interaction and relationship management is expected.
• Proven ability to develop repeatable process documentation and standard operating procedures.
