This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Ensure that new mortgage loan packages are processed and finalized in accordance with established policies and procedures.

• Uphold the company's standards for integrity, client focus, teamwork, and respect.

• Achieve or surpass the company's customer service benchmarks.

• Maintain exceptional customer service standards within pre-funding operations departments.

• Safeguard the integrity of data entered into the company's operating systems.

• Address service-related challenges and provide coaching and training to team members on handling difficult situations and clients.

• Oversee the daily operations of the In-House Processing Team.

• Identify and resolve issues that arise during normal daily operations.

• Collaborate with Underwriting Team Leads to respond to inquiries, brainstorm solutions, offer training, and uphold efficient processes.

• Establish employee goals that align with the company's and department's objectives.

• Conduct team meetings and convey departmental goals clearly.

• Relay personnel requirements and issues to the Vice President of Operations.

• Engage in the hiring and disciplinary processes for direct reports.

• Monitor and enhance internal processes and procedures.

• Uphold quality standards in accordance with company requirements.

• Recruit, hire, train, mentor, coach, and develop direct reports.

• Supervise staff performance across operational departments.

• Foster positive internal customer relationships and reduce employee turnover.

• Ensure efficient and timely loan processing from submission through underwriting, processing, document drawing, funding, and closing.

• Assess direct reports and deliver performance management, feedback, coaching, counseling, and remediation.

• Propose process and system modifications to enhance productivity.

• Develop and execute strategies that support corporate growth and objectives.

• Identify and integrate technological opportunities to improve systems and processes.

• Administer company policies, performance expectations, and procedures throughout the loan origination process.

• Maintain clear communication among processing, production, underwriting, account management, documents, funding, and management teams.

• Manage pipeline assignments and workflow distribution to achieve turn-time benchmarks.

• Ensure required procedures are implemented for cancelled or denied pipeline loans.

• Stay updated on company requirements as well as federal and state regulations for compliance.

• Perform data entry and process loan files as necessary, including covering processor pipelines during absences.

• Participate in departmental and senior management meetings as required.

• Conduct regular departmental and supervisor meetings.

• Carry out other assigned duties.


⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of five to seven years of experience in mortgage banking or lending.

• Previous Management and/or Supervisory Experience is essential.

• Prior experience with automated Loan Origination Systems is necessary.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

• Up-to-date knowledge of industry guidelines, procedures, as well as federal, state, and local regulations.

• Understanding of mortgage banking principles.

• Strong analytical skills.

• Ability to work with minimal supervision.

• Unquestionable character and integrity.

• Demonstrated ability to lead large teams of employees.

• Detail-oriented approach.

• Highly organized with strong multi-tasking and prioritization skills.

• Capability to thrive in a fast-paced environment under time constraints.

• High School Diploma is required.
