This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Assist the Health and Leave of Absence teams in their operational activities.
• Gain a comprehensive understanding of the health and leave administration process cycle and the related system functionalities.
• Familiarize yourself with client specifics as well as relevant federal and local regulations.
• Generate monthly headcount reports for all clients to facilitate billing processes.
• Receive, organize, and address correspondence from clients and participants.
• Handle COBRA and DB&P participant payments, which includes copying and preparing deposits.
• Oversee the maintenance of the postage machine and ensure timely dispatch of client communications and participant letters.
• Manage vendor reconciliations and produce activity reports.
• Conduct weekly audits for COBRA to guarantee compliance.
• Monitor leave administration mailboxes and faxes for new cases, extensions, and updates within the LOA system.
• Coordinate communications regarding leave of absence, including orientation packages, SINOT employer forms, and reminders for return-to-work.
• Perform FMLA recertifications and assign cases to LOA Client Specialists.
• Support case management via the 3-point medical contact process.
• Offer administrative and HRIS support, which includes updating employment statuses, processing transactions, and aiding in case tracking.
• Collaborate with the Health and LOA teams to enhance efficiency, quality of service, and processes through automation, standardization, and system improvements.
• A High School Diploma is required; a Bachelor's degree is a plus.
• Proficient communication skills in both English and Spanish.
• Strong computer literacy and advanced Excel capabilities.
• Experience or knowledge in Health and Leave of Absence is essential.
• Possess analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Keen attention to detail.
• Authorized to work in the employing country with no current or future visa sponsorship needed.
• Successful completion of a background check, if applicable.
