Process Improvement Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Missouri.

📋 Description

• Identify and implement enterprise-wide initiatives aimed at improving processes utilizing LEAN/Six Sigma, PDSA, or similar methodologies.

• Support the business infrastructure and aid in the acquisition of new business opportunities.

• Develop, prioritize, and execute projects focused on performance enhancement.

• Assist in the implementation and training of various functional areas concerning process engineering maintenance plans and staff training.

• Collect, monitor, and assess key performance metrics related to projects.

• Create project status reports.

• Facilitate cross-functional teams aimed at improvement, following the DMAIC roadmap or a comparable process.

• Communicate gaps in process design and implementation to upper management.

• Perform additional duties as assigned.

• Adhere to all policies and standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.

• A minimum of 4 years of experience in LEAN, Six Sigma, or similar process improvement initiatives within the healthcare sector is preferred.

• Proficient knowledge of process mapping and design.

• Familiarity with statistical applications.

• Understanding of project management software.

• LEAN/Six Sigma Green Belt certification is strongly preferred.

• CAPM-PMI - Certified Associate in Project Management is preferred.

• Black Belt or PMP certification is preferred.

• Flexibility to work remotely from anywhere within the United States.

• Availability primarily Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm; occasional weekend work may be required.
