Process Engineer – Bodymaker

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Austria.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with the Regional Process Support Group to facilitate installations, conduct audits, troubleshoot issues, implement best practices, drive innovation, reduce costs, and maintain Front End process equipment across BPEMEA and Asia facilities.

• Provide technical expertise to support projects and overhauls.

• Produce and submit comprehensive reports following site visits.

• Manage maintenance, audits, setups, and problem-solving for Bodymaker and Trimmer machinery.

• Educate plant and central staff at all levels.

• Assist plants with requests for capital investments.

• Coordinate with equipment suppliers and OEMs.

• Develop practical SOPs to enhance effective process equipment practices.

• Encourage the development of technical skills accessible to plant personnel.

• Follow up on suggested actions.

• Maintain strong relationships with both plants and suppliers.

• Design and deliver technical training for both new and existing plants.

• Be available on short notice to address emergency breakdowns.

⛳️ Requirements

• ONC or degree in Mechanical Engineering.

• 3–5 years of practical engineering experience with various types of Body Makers.

• Capability to manage a small project or team effectively.

• Extensive technical knowledge of Front End operations in a two-piece can manufacturing environment.

• Ability to work independently.

• Self-driven and motivated.

• Willingness to travel on short notice.

• Availability to work weekends, as necessary.

• Possession of a full driving license.

• Strong team player.

• Proficient in written and spoken English.
