This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Act as the main point of contact for Advisors regarding ALOC+ lending solutions.
• Assist with the setup of cases, documentation, and follow-up processes.
• Provide support to Advisors and clients throughout the lending application process, including disclosure documents and other supporting materials.
• Review applications and documentation to ensure completeness and accuracy prior to submission.
• Identify any gaps or deficiencies in lending files.
• Educate Advisors and administrative personnel on processes, forms, timelines, and requirements.
• Address inquiries from Advisors and clients.
• Offer case support to Regional Directors and Specialized Lending for larger and more intricate cases.
• Collaborate with Underwriting, Credit, Operations, and Fulfillment to advance approved cases.
• Keep tracking, documentation, and status updates organized for active files.
• Provide assistance with escalations and service-related issues.
• Engage in discussions with Regional Director partners regarding case priorities and territory support.
• Set up and manage lending and deposit business by processing financial transactions.
• Ensure the quality, completeness, and security of lending files in accordance with audit, compliance, and regulatory standards.
• Maintain records for reporting, tracking, and compliance purposes.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies.
• Uphold confidentiality and security of bank records and client information.
• Comply with internal policies, procedures, AML, KYC, and KYA requirements.
• Complete necessary training and stay updated on product, system, and process changes.
• Collaborate and exchange best practices across Specialized Lending and Manulife Bank teams.
• Participate in team meetings, planning sessions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Post-secondary education or equivalent experience in the industry.
• A minimum of 3–5 years of experience in banking, lending, or financial services.
• Strong knowledge of lending administration, documentation, and client service.
• Excellent organizational abilities with a keen attention to detail.
• Capability to manage multiple files and priorities concurrently.
• Previous experience in supporting secured lending or specialized lending solutions is preferred.
• Familiarity with advisor-supported distribution models is also preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Salesforce is advantageous.
• Bilingualism (English and French) is considered an asset.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the confidence to interact directly with Advisors and clients.
• Knowledge of AML, KYC, and KYA requirements.
