Private Equity Associate – Consumer & Leisure

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.

📋 Description

• Develop a functional financial model for a designated consumer/leisure transaction utilizing a synthetic deal document package.

• Submit an editable Excel workbook featuring live formulas, source citations, and articulated assumptions.

• Conduct peer reviews on two anonymized models prepared by other contractors using a defined set of criteria.

• Provide a concise written justification for each peer review and fill out a review scorecard.

• Engage in projects aimed at training and improving AI systems.

⛳️ Requirements

• 2–4 years of total experience: around 2 years in investment banking (Consumer/Retail or general M&A—preferably in Paris, London, or other European locations), followed by 1–2 years in mid-market or large-cap private equity.

• Currently or recently serving as an Associate at a mid-market or large-cap private equity firm with a focus on consumer/leisure/multi-site services.

• Preference for candidates with Paris office or French deal experience.

• Capable of constructing a financial model from source documents independently, without a template.

• Proficiency in English is required.

• Engagement as an independent contractor.

• Must be able to complete approximately 20–25 hours of work within a period of 1.5–2 weeks.

• H-1B and STEM OPT candidates are not eligible.
