Private Equity Associate – Consumer & Leisure

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.

📋 Description

• Develop a functional financial model for a designated consumer/leisure transaction using a synthetic deal document pack.

• Provide an editable Excel workbook that includes live formulas, source references, and clearly stated assumptions.

• Conduct peer reviews on two anonymized models created by other contractors based on a defined set of criteria.

• Offer a concise written justification for each peer review conducted.

• Complete a review scorecard.

• Allocate approximately 20–25 hours of work over a span of 1.5–2 weeks.

• Engage in projects aimed at training and enhancing AI systems.

⛳️ Requirements

• 2–4 years of overall experience.

• Around 2 years of investment banking experience in Consumer/Retail or generalist M&A, preferably in Paris, London, or other European locations.

• 1–2 years of experience in mid-market or large-cap private equity.

• Currently or recently held the position of Associate at a mid-market or large-cap PE fund.

• Focus on consumer/leisure/multi-site services, such as fitness clubs, with an understanding of owned vs. franchise models or multi-site roll-ups.

• Prior experience with a Paris office or in French deals is preferred.

• Capability to construct a financial model from source documents without utilizing a template.

• Proficient in English.

• Status as an independent contractor.

• Currently unable to support H1-B or STEM OPT candidates.
