This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +1 more state.
β’ Develop and implement agent-based workflows for privacy engineering tasks, including privacy review intake, data subject rights requests, data inventory updates, and telemetry classification.
β’ Create AI-assisted tools to enable engineering teams to identify privacy risks at an earlier stage and apply suitable safeguards.
β’ Establish and enhance privacy controls related to authorization, data scoping, retention and deletion, consent signals, and responsible data access.
β’ Integrate privacy tools with CI/CD processes, code reviews, data catalogs, ticketing platforms, and internal services.
β’ Enhance logs and telemetry through processes of classification, minimization, and redaction.
β’ Design scalable solutions to boost the speed, consistency, and auditability of both manual and semi-automated privacy processes.
β’ Write high-quality production code, tests, and documentation.
β’ Oversee deployed workflows through monitoring, evaluation, error handling, and continuous improvement.
β’ Collaborate effectively with teams from Engineering, Product, Data, and Legal and Privacy partners.
β’ Experience in building and delivering production software in a SaaS, cloud, or similarly intricate engineering environment.
β’ Proficient in at least one backend programming language, such as Python, TypeScript, or Go.
β’ Strong foundation in testing, debugging, version control, and maintainable software design.
β’ Experience in developing with LLM systems or comparable AI frameworks, including agents, tool-use pipelines, or multi-step orchestration workflows.
β’ Experience integrating software with APIs, databases, ticketing systems, CI/CD pipelines, or data platforms.
β’ Practical knowledge of privacy or data-handling concepts, including data minimization, access controls, retention and deletion, consent, or privacy-conscious telemetry.
β’ Ability to translate established privacy requirements into tangible engineering tasks.
β’ Capability to manage well-defined projects or workstreams from implementation to delivery.
β’ Ability to collaborate with Security, Engineering, Product, Data, and Legal and Privacy teams.
β’ Preferred experience with GDPR, CCPA, CPRA, data subject rights workflows, data inventories, third-party integrations, threat modeling, privacy reviews, prompt design, LLM output validation, reliability patterns, or privacy safeguards for AI-assisted features.
β’ Must have legal authorization to work in the countries specified in the job posting; no work authorization, relocation assistance, or visa sponsorship/transfers will be provided.
