This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.
• Engage in projects to guarantee adherence to Brazil’s General Data Protection Law (LGPD) and other relevant data protection regulations.
• Analyze processes and personal data flows.
• Create and assess data inventories, Records of Processing Activities (ROPA), Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs), and additional privacy-related documentation.
• Assist with risk assessments and privacy governance efforts.
• Review contracts, terms of use, policies, and privacy statements.
• Address data subject requests and aid activities pertaining to the Data Protection Officer (DPO).
• Participate in client meetings to gather requirements and oversee project advancements.
• Facilitate privacy training and awareness programs.
• Investigate data protection laws, regulations, and best practices.
• Collaborate with Information Security, Compliance, Legal, and various business teams.
• A bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration, Information Technology, Information Security, or a related discipline.
• Hands-on experience in privacy and data protection initiatives.
• Understanding of the LGPD and its primary requirements.
• Experience with data mapping, data inventories, or ROPA.
• Proficiency in preparing or assisting in the development of DPIAs.
• Excellent writing abilities for crafting documents and reports.
• Strong organizational capabilities and the capacity to handle multiple requests and deadlines.
• Clear, concise, and professional communication skills.
• Ability to provide consulting support to both clients and internal teams.
• Background as a Privacy Consultant, Privacy Analyst, or in a DPO support capacity.
• Experience in consulting firms or environments catering to multiple clients.
• Familiarity with ISO 27001, Information Security, or GRC.
• Certifications such as EXIN Privacy and Data Protection, EXIN DPO, EXIN Information Security Foundation, or equivalent.
• OneTrust certifications.
• Experience in delivering privacy training and awareness initiatives.
• Postgraduate qualification in Compliance, Data Protection, or a related field.
• Authentic interest in Privacy and Data Protection.
• Analytical mindset and keen attention to detail.
• Consultative and solutions-oriented approach.
• Proactive nature and strong sense of ownership.
• Flexibility to manage multiple projects concurrently.
• Strong interpersonal skills when collaborating with clients and multidisciplinary teams.
