This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
• Deliver expert clinical, technical, and product support for Medtronic’s vascular offerings.
• Collaborate with physicians and care teams to enhance patient outcomes in peripheral arterial, venous, embolization, carotid, and fistula therapies.
• Train customers through personalized sessions, in-service programs, case assistance, and participation in conferences.
• Assist sales representatives with critical case coverage and provide technical support to ensure the safe and effective use of products.
• Work alongside sales representatives, managers, and cross-functional teams to implement district business strategies and drive revenue growth.
• Provide timely technical and procedural assistance for urgent customer needs and complex cases.
• Cultivate relationships with physicians, administrators, clinicians, and key decision-makers.
• Assess customer needs, handle objections, and relay market feedback and product insights.
• Oversee inventory performance within customer accounts, managing audits, resolving discrepancies, ensuring consignment agreements, and maintaining product availability.
• Organize product launches, inventory transitions, and field initiatives.
• Aid in inventory management, collecting purchase orders, leading training initiatives, and supporting other business processes.
• Carry out physical tasks such as lifting up to 40 lbs., sitting, standing, walking for over 8 hours daily, bending, stooping, squatting, and maintaining balance.
• Operate in clinical settings with protective eyewear, handling infectious diseases, radiation, and 7–9 lbs. of lead while using computers and mobile devices.
• Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned.
• High School Diploma plus a minimum of 11 years of experience, OR an associate's degree plus a minimum of 9 years, OR a Bachelor’s Degree plus a minimum of 7 years in healthcare, field sales, or in roles involving complex mathematics, mechanical concepts, science, or computing.
• Candidates must live within the designated territory.
• Willingness to travel to multiple customer accounts in the region up to 50% of the time.
• A valid driver's license, active insurance, and a driving record that complies with company standards are mandatory.
• Ability to work and/or travel outside standard business hours, including occasional evening and weekend obligations.
• Comprehensive understanding of medical terminology, medical procedures, and the medical device sector.
• Proven project management skills and experience in program coordination.
• Capacity to manage and engage in numerous tasks/projects in a fast-paced environment while adhering to deadlines.
• For degrees obtained outside the United States, a qualification that satisfies 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required.
• Unrestricted U.S. work authorization at the time of hire and throughout employment is required for positions below the Principal level.
