This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Korea.
• Assemble, lead, and expand a high-performing team of thermal engineers throughout Asia.
• Establish technical vision, recruit and mentor team members, and oversee field operations.
• Work closely with Sales to facilitate technical discussions, outline proof-of-concept assessments, and present product demonstrations.
• Assist customer engineering teams in setting up simulations, managing complex test scenarios, and analyzing results.
• Showcase Vinci’s technical and business advantages to enterprise clients.
• Manage customer onboarding, streamline deployment processes, and drive account growth.
• Offer senior technical support, organized training sessions, and advanced troubleshooting.
• Identify customer challenges and workflow impediments.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to transform customer insights into product enhancements.
• Represent Vinci at industry conferences and semiconductor events through technical presentations and live demonstrations.
• Monitor competitive technologies, industry developments, and market dynamics.
• Work remotely with Sales, Product, and Engineering teams based in Palo Alto, California, USA.
• Travel moderately within Asia and occasionally internationally to engage with the US team.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related technical discipline.
• Over 15 years of practical experience in thermal management and cooling solutions, whether through running simulations or serving as a technical account manager for commercial physics simulation software.
• Expert-level proficiency in commercial simulation software such as Flotherm, Ansys Icepak/Fluent, Simcenter STAR-CCM+, or similar tools.
• Extensive knowledge of semiconductor electronics packaging, advanced packaging technologies such as 2.5D/3D IC, or foundry ecosystems.
• Previous experience in dedicated customer-facing roles.
• Hands-on programming skills in Python or C++ for workflow automation or simulation data parsing.
• Demonstrated managerial or technical leadership capabilities.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Familiarity with structural mechanical simulations (FEA/stress) and/or Electrical Signal Integrity and Power Integrity (SI/PI) processes.
• Direct experience in commercializing technical software, ideally EDA or CAE simulation tools, within major semiconductor and electronics companies.
• Prior experience in technical pre-sales, application engineering (FAE), or strategic technical sales settings.
• Capacity to adopt and advocate for physics-based workflows and AI-assisted design or simulation tools.
• Collaborate with elite engineers and researchers in a dynamic startup environment.
• Moderate travel requirements, primarily within Asia.
