This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Build, lead, and expand a high-performing team of thermal engineers throughout Europe.
• Establish technical direction, recruit and mentor team members, and drive field execution.
• Collaborate with Sales to facilitate technical discussions, define proof-of-concept evaluations, and present product demonstrations.
• Assist customer engineering teams with simulation setup, complex test scenarios, and the interpretation of results.
• Demonstrate Vinci’s technical and business value through customer evaluations.
• Oversee customer onboarding, the deployment pipeline, and account growth.
• Offer senior technical guidance, structured training, and advanced troubleshooting support.
• Identify customer pain points and workflow inefficiencies.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering to translate field feedback into product features.
• Represent Vinci at industry conferences and semiconductor events through technical presentations and live demonstrations.
• Monitor competitive technologies, industry trends, and market positioning.
• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related technical discipline.
• Expert-level proficiency in commercial simulation software (Flotherm, Ansys Icepak/Fluent, Simcenter STAR-CCM+, or similar).
• Over 15 years of hands-on experience in thermal management and cooling solutions, either as a simulation practitioner or a technical account manager for commercial physics simulation software.
• Strong familiarity with semiconductor electronics packaging and advanced packaging technologies (e.g., 2.5D/3D IC) or foundry ecosystems.
• Previous experience in dedicated customer-facing roles.
• Practical programming skills in Python or C++ for automating workflows or parsing simulation data.
• Demonstrated managerial or technical leadership experience.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
• Familiarity with structural mechanical simulations (FEA/stress) and/or Electrical Signal Integrity and Power Integrity (SI/PI) workflows (preferred).
• Direct experience in commercializing technical software, preferably EDA or CAE simulation tools, within major semiconductor and electronics companies (preferred).
• Previous experience in technical pre-sales, application engineering (FAE), or strategic technical sales roles (preferred).
• Capability to adopt and promote physics-based workflows and AI-assisted design or simulation tools (preferred).
• Moderate travel opportunities, primarily across continental Europe.
