This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.
• Build, manage, and expand a high-performing team of thermal engineers throughout Europe.
• Establish technical direction, recruit and mentor team members, and oversee field execution.
• Collaborate with Sales on technical discussions, scoping proof of concepts, and conducting product demonstrations.
• Assist customer engineering teams in setting up simulations, navigating complex test cases, and interpreting results.
• Showcase Vinci’s technical capabilities and business value.
• Take ownership of customer onboarding, deployment processes, and account growth.
• Offer senior-level technical guidance, structured training, and advanced troubleshooting support.
• Identify customer challenges and workflow inefficiencies.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering to transform customer feedback into new product features.
• Represent Vinci at industry conferences and semiconductor events through technical presentations and live demos.
• Monitor competitive technologies, industry developments, and market positioning.
• Assist customers in assessing thermal risks, component reliability, power density, and cooling efficiency for next-generation hardware.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related technical discipline.
• Expert-level proficiency in commercial simulation software such as Flotherm, Ansys Icepak/Fluent, Simcenter STAR-CCM+, or similar tools.
• Over 15 years of hands-on experience in thermal management and cooling solutions.
• Extensive knowledge of semiconductor electronics packaging and advanced packaging technologies such as 2.5D/3D IC or foundry ecosystems.
• Previous experience in customer-facing roles.
• Practical programming skills in Python or C++ for workflow automation or simulation data analysis.
• Demonstrated managerial or technical leadership experience.
• Capacity to scale, mentor, and drive performance across engineering teams.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Preferred: familiarity with structural mechanical simulations (FEA/stress) and/or SI/PI workflows.
• Preferred: direct experience in commercializing technical software, preferably EDA or CAE simulation tools.
• Preferred: previous experience in technical pre-sales, application engineering (FAE), or strategic technical sales.
• Preferred: ability to adopt and advocate for physics-based and AI-assisted design or simulation tools.
• Remote work options available.
