This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Belgium.
• Build, lead, and expand a high-performing team of thermal engineers throughout Europe.
• Establish technical direction, recruit and mentor team members, and drive execution in the field.
• Work closely with Sales to facilitate technical discussions, define proof-of-concept evaluations, and provide product demonstrations.
• Assist customer engineering teams during evaluation phases.
• Manage simulation setups, execute complex test cases, and analyze results to showcase technical and business value.
• Take ownership of customer enablement through onboarding, deployment pipeline, and account expansion.
• Offer senior technical guidance, structured training, and advanced troubleshooting.
• Identify customer pain points and workflow inefficiencies.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to transform field feedback into product features.
• Represent Vinci at industry conferences and semiconductor events through presentations and live demonstrations.
• Keep track of competitive technologies, industry trends, and market positioning.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related technical discipline.
• Expert-level proficiency in commercial simulation software (such as Flotherm, Ansys Icepak/Fluent, Simcenter STAR-CCM+, or equivalent).
• Over 15 years of hands-on experience in thermal management and cooling solutions.
• Extensive knowledge of semiconductor electronics packaging and advanced packaging technologies (e.g., 2.5D/3D IC) or foundry ecosystems.
• Previous experience in dedicated customer-facing positions.
• Practical programming skills in Python or C++ for automating workflows or analyzing simulation data.
• Demonstrated managerial or technical leadership experience.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Familiarity with structural mechanical simulations (FEA/stress) and/or Electrical Signal Integrity and Power Integrity (SI/PI) workflows.
• Direct experience in commercializing technical software, preferably EDA or CAE simulation tools, within major semiconductor and electronics companies.
• Previous experience in technical pre-sales, application engineering (FAE), or strategic technical sales settings.
• Capability to adopt and promote physics-based workflows and AI-assisted design or simulation tools.
• Collaborate with top-tier engineers and researchers.
• Work in a fast-paced startup environment.
• Moderate travel opportunities within continental Europe.
