Principal Technology Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop enterprise architecture blueprints for secure and scalable AWS environments tailored for autonomous AI agent orchestration.

• Integrate AI-driven automation within the DevOps SDLC for software delivery, testing, and security assessments.

• Ensure alignment between C-suite technology strategies and implementation teams while establishing governance, security, and compliance frameworks for AI workflows.

• Articulate and convey the architectural vision and strategy for healthcare SaaS offerings.

• Design and execute scalable, elastic, available, resilient, and secure cloud-native SaaS architectures.

• Oversee the product technology scorecard, technical roadmap, technical debt inventory, product security alignment, architecture standards, and compliance with operational reference models.

• Offer technical guidance and mentorship to engineering teams.

• Advocate for elastic, serverless, and microservice architecture patterns in accordance with the AWS Well-Architected Framework.

• Guarantee that solutions adhere to industry standards, regulatory requirements, governance expectations, as well as data security and privacy obligations.

• Create and manage architecture artifacts, designs, and decision records through governance processes.

• Collaborate with stakeholders, clients, product management, engineering, platform architects, security, and operations to translate business requirements into architectural designs.

• Promote the adoption of AI/ML, automation, microservices, and serverless technologies while integrating relevant trends into the roadmap.

⛳️ Requirements

• Accomplished engineer/architect with substantial technical credibility and leadership capabilities in enterprise-level architecture.

• Extensive hands-on strategic expertise in modern SDLC automation and Agentic AI platform design.

• Profound knowledge of AWS services, cloud architecture principles, cost optimization, and secure cloud-native implementation methodologies.

• High proficiency in serverless application design, microservices architecture, event-driven design, and multi-region, multi-tenant SaaS models.

• Capability to implement best practices in scalability, high availability, data retention, disaster recovery, resiliency, monitoring, observability, and security.

• Familiarity with HITRUST, HIPAA, SOC 2, data privacy, and cloud identity and access management models.

• Strong architecture governance expertise.

• Advanced critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.

• Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to influence executives and engage stakeholders effectively.

• 10 years of experience in application or solution architecture.

• 8 years of experience in cloud architecture, cloud engineering, or cloud-native application design and deployment.

• 5 years of experience in designing, deploying, and managing large-scale, complex serverless SaaS solutions on public clouds, preferably AWS.

• 5 years of experience with CI/CD, infrastructure as code, and DevOps practices.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

• AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional.

• Must possess legal authority to work in the US.

• Must be capable of using workstation equipment for up to 8 hours a day.
