Lead Architect – Federal Enterprise Infrastructure

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee the overall system architecture and technical design across Non-Classified, IL5, and IL6 environments.

• Establish OCI cloud architecture and security design for cross-domain data movement and mission operations.

• Design secure data flows between classified and unclassified environments.

• Provide technical leadership and guidance to engineering and DevSecOps teams throughout the system lifecycle.

• Design and manage AI/ML solutions for multi-modal datasets.

• Ensure that security architectures are compliant with OWASP principles and federal cybersecurity standards.

• Supervise source code vulnerability scanning integration within CI/CD pipelines.

• Collaborate with Oracle, subcontractors, and government stakeholders to ensure technical alignment and resolve issues.

• Assist with security authorization and compliance activities, including eMASS documentation and artifacts.

• Ensure that architectures comply with federal standards, customer requirements, and large-scale program constraints.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be a U.S. Citizen.

• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline (or equivalent experience).

• At least 16 years of relevant professional experience.

• A minimum of 2-3 years of strong OCI-specific experience.

• Extensive background supporting large-scale federal programs.

• Proven ability to architect and deliver secure cloud solutions within Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).

• Demonstrated expertise in cross-domain data movement and secure system integration.

• Experience in designing and implementing architectures that fulfill Non-Classified, IL5, and IL6 requirements.

• Strong comprehension of secure software development and federal compliance processes.

• In-depth understanding of OCI services, architectures, and policies.

• Capability to write and build granular OCI policies.

• Strong knowledge of identity management, networking, computing, and CLI.

• Ability to set up secure desktops.

• Solid understanding of cross-domain solutions and secure data transfer mechanisms.

• Familiarity with federal cybersecurity frameworks and OWASP security models.

• Knowledge of DevSecOps methodologies and compliance-driven development.

• Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code development and automation.

• Experience in leading and mentoring engineering teams.

• OCI Architect Professional Certification is preferred, but not required.

• Experience with Terraform is preferred, but not required.
