This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Define and clearly express the long-term vision, goals, and deliverables of the program.
• Ensure alignment of the program with the overarching mission support strategy and subsequent field support plan.
• Develop the program vision, strategy, an outcome-focused integrated roadmap, and manage the product/project/program backlog.
• Oversee sensor integration, resilient gateway routing, tactical data management, as well as DevSecOps, cybersecurity, and cloud support initiatives.
• Organize and facilitate meetings with team members and stakeholders.
• Effectively communicate the program vision, strategy, roadmap, and backlog to audiences of all levels, including senior executives and commanders.
• Make timely and informed decisions regarding features, scope, and priorities.
• Identify challenges and opportunities, driving appropriate resolutions.
• Lead and influence a balanced cross-functional team in daily operations.
• Maintain and prioritize the program backlog efficiently.
• Document operational requirements and experiences comprehensively.
• Craft user stories complete with acceptance criteria.
• Advocate for user-centered design both internally and with clients.
• Gather requirements and manage requirements traceability matrices diligently.
• Act as a bridge between stakeholders and development teams.
• Oversee release and deployment planning, acceptance testing, feedback management, risk assessment, team resources, lean project management, collaboration, and quality assurance.
• A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline (Business, Computer Science, Engineering, etc.).
• A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in Program/Product Management.
• Strong comprehension of Agile development methodologies.
• Solid understanding of Lean Project Management principles.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven experience leading projects/programs from conception to market/IOC to FOC.
• Experience with user-centered design, concept testing, usability testing, and various research methodologies.
• Background in stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills.
• Experience working in a balanced team environment to build, measure, and learn.
• Familiarity with rapid and iterative development processes.
• Ability to balance customer and user feedback to create appealing solutions.
• U.S. Citizenship is required.
• Eligibility to obtain a Common Access Card (CAC) is mandatory.
• A Secret security clearance is required.
• Preferred: Knowledge of emerging technologies in the US Air Force.
• Preferred: Experience in contributing to program decisions through user research, customer development, and iterative feedback loops.
