This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona.
• Oversee the initiation of new pursuits and proposals
• Direct contract execution efforts for a vital Naval Power, Naval Air Missiles program
• Assist in developing strategic solutions and offer recommendations for proposal, negotiation, and execution challenges
• Ensure timely proposal submission and effective ongoing contract execution
• Cultivate and sustain robust relationships with both internal and external customers
• Collaborate with Portfolio Directors, Program Managers, Chief Engineers, Finance, and Supply Chain to facilitate successful contract execution
• Identify, mitigate, and resolve contractual challenges
• Ensure compliance of negotiated terms and conditions with company policies
• Offer guidance on contractual and business matters, rights and obligations, and risk mitigation related to contracts and programs
• Establish and uphold effective relationships with customers and internal partners
• Engage with customers regarding correspondence, contractual modifications, and related issues
• Manage contracts and interact directly with program leadership
• Assist in the development and production contracts for domestic, Foreign Military Sales (FMS), and subcontractor needs
• Participate in business management reviews, including quarterly Estimate at Completion (EAC) reviews
• U.S. citizenship is mandatory, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
• An active and existing DoD Secret security clearance is required from day one
• Generally requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field with at least 3 years of experience
• Background in contracts management, program management, business management, finance, and/or supply chain processes and procurement
• Familiarity with contracts, terms and conditions, RFPs, RFQs, FAR, DFARS, or similar contract-related experience
• Experience in contract negotiations, execution, and administration of various contract aspects
• Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) requirements
• Proficient in applying analysis and critical thinking to solve complex problems
• Understanding of the financial aspects of contracts and risk quantification
• Experience with Intellectual Property, license agreements, or teaming agreements
• Preferred advanced degrees such as MBA, JD, Law Degree, or Master of Science in Finance
