Principal Solutions Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Interact with financial services organizations to gain insights into their business processes, integration challenges, and regulatory requirements.

• Convert intricate financial services needs into solution proposals and demonstrations.

• Oversee technical qualification, solution design, and the development of proposals.

• Collaborate with Sales on opportunity evaluation, deal strategy, and account planning.

• Deliver presentations to senior stakeholders in the financial services sector.

• Address RFPs and RFIs with tailored financial services content.

• Assist in proofs of concept by providing hands-on guidance, sharing best practices, and troubleshooting issues.

• Coordinate with Delivery to facilitate seamless implementation transitions for financial services accounts.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in solution consulting, presales, or software delivery.

• Strong comprehension of financial services integration requirements, including payments, cash management, onboarding, compliance, and global messaging.

• Extensive knowledge of B2B, API-based integration, and enterprise application integration.

• Familiarity with SaaS, EDI, REST, JSON, SWIFT, ISO 20022, SAML, SOA, AWS, and GCP.

• Experience with Gentran, Axway, Sterling, Volante, FIS, Finastra, Bottomline, MuleSoft, and GXS.

• Capability to distill technical concepts for business leaders and financial services executives.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to operate independently and effectively within a dynamic team environment.

• Willingness to travel for client interactions.

• Proficiency in PowerPoint and Word.

• Bachelor’s degree is mandatory.

• Industry certifications or training in financial services is preferred.
