This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design, analyze, and/or establish architecture for operational, Marketplace, MPIC, and various organizational data.

• Develop and implement solutions and optimization techniques to create and interpret information that aids management in decision-making and policy development.

• Gather and evaluate data to create decision-support software, services, or products.

• Formulate optimal solutions regarding time, cost, or data for program assessment, review, or execution.

• Identify solutions grounded in business and technical criteria, evaluate alternatives, and execute designs.

• Investigate current and emerging technologies and process methodologies, proposing modifications or adaptations as necessary.

• Evaluate existing system and business process architecture and suggest enhancements.

• Guarantee that technical data teams provide efficient and effective system solutions that align with business objectives.

• Develop, improve, and sustain service design procedures and processes utilizing established frameworks and methodologies.

• Prepare and deliver test plans, technical presentations, and analyst briefings.

• Determine customer needs, evaluate alternatives, and recommend configurations for data, software, platforms, and networks.

• Keep stakeholders informed about project costs, schedules, and quality in relation to objectives.

• Mentor and guide less experienced professionals.

• Take on the role of team or task lead when necessary.

• Act as a subject matter expert in data and solutions architecture.

• Document the processes of data collection, analysis, interpretation, and related architecture in MPIC management and tracking systems.

• Support ad-hoc educational and outreach initiatives for CMS, law enforcement, agents/brokers, navigators, and other partners.

• Protect personally identifiable information (PII) and protected health information (PHI).


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in the healthcare sector, with 2-4 years of ACA and/or Medicaid-Medicare experience.

• At least 8 years of experience in solutions architecture.

• Proficient in solutions architecture, including AWS, Cloud, and data source connections/interfaces.

• Expert-level knowledge in systems design and analysis, including the configuration and/or programming of complex systems (infrastructure/database/applications).

• Ability to adapt to evolving business, client, and technical environment needs.

• Proven track record of innovative design and thought when necessary to fulfill business requirements.

• Strong communication skills.

• Advanced analytical abilities.

• Recent experience supporting the CMS/MPIC program.

• Must be capable of obtaining and maintaining a Public Trust clearance.

• Must successfully pass a CMS background investigation.

• NACI (T1) public trust requirement.

• No security clearance is currently required or to be obtained.

• Occasional travel may be necessary.

• US citizenship is not a requirement.
