Principal Solution Architect – ServiceNow

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Engage with customer executives to uncover pain points and opportunities, translating them into effective ServiceNow solutions.

• Assist customers, colleagues, and partners in understanding the Now platform and the opportunities it presents for the future of work.

• Lead architecture and design initiatives for IT transformation, digital products and services, PaaS, enterprise service management, and industry-specific solutions.

• Grasp customer business strategies and convey how ServiceNow adds organizational value.

• Integrate ServiceNow into the current and future technology frameworks of customers.

• Articulate the ServiceNow platform and its architecture across various levels.

• Utilize architecture development methodologies, modeling techniques, and integration patterns.

• Collaborate with Enterprise Architects, Domain Architects, Directors, VPs, and CXOs throughout the customer engagement process.

• Provide thought leadership and work closely with internal ServiceNow business units.

• Develop and contribute to best practices, white papers, workshops, and training sessions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience in leveraging or critically assessing the integration of AI in work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving.

• A strong passion and enthusiasm for cultivating business relationships.

• Exceptional problem-solving abilities and innovative thinking.

• A minimum of 15 years of demonstrated success in influencing senior technology leaders in a pre-sales, customer, or delivery-oriented role.

• Experience in leading diverse teams towards challenging objectives.

• Proven track record in applying Human-Centered Design techniques.

• Expertise in designing, implementing, and managing advanced application architectures while integrating multiple systems or platforms.

• Established success in Enterprise Architecture or Application Architecture within a software vendor, large enterprise, or professional services setting.

• Familiarity with architecture frameworks such as TOGAF, Zachman, IT4IT, BIAN, TMForum, or similar.

• Strong understanding of cloud-based platform architecture, encompassing SaaS, PaaS, multi-tenancy, and automation.

• Experience across domains including application, data, DevOps, AI/ML, integration, big data, mobility, and analytics.

• Proven experience presenting architectural concepts, designs, and objectives to technology leaders and partners.
