This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut, +7 more states.
• Define and implement the automation architecture strategy and roadmap for Humana's enterprise.
• Establish enterprise standards, reference architectures, patterns, and best practices focused on quality engineering and automation.
• Assess emerging technologies in automation and AI-driven testing solutions.
• Act as the subject matter expert in enterprise automation for contemporary quality engineering practices.
• Design, develop, and sustain scalable and reusable automation frameworks.
• Create automation solutions tailored for cloud-native, microservices, API-first, web, mobile, and distributed application architectures.
• Develop reusable automation components, libraries, utilities, templates, and accelerators.
• Integrate automation with Azure DevOps, qTest, Tosca, Jira, and CI/CD ecosystems.
• Facilitate end-to-end traceability across requirements, test cases, automation assets, defects, releases, and production outcomes.
• Offer technical guidance to Quality Engineers, SDETs, Automation Engineers, and development teams.
• Produce technical documentation, playbooks, and training resources.
• Define and apply AI-enabled testing strategies, tools, practices, and agents.
• Investigate Generative AI technologies and intelligent automation platforms.
• Integrate AI capabilities within quality engineering workflows and delivery pipelines.
• Apply automated quality gates, validation frameworks, and shift-left testing strategies.
• Develop and refine automation execution strategies for continuous integration, continuous delivery, and release readiness.
• Collaborate with DevOps and Platform Engineering teams to enhance test infrastructure and scalability of execution.
• Track testing metrics, automation efficacy, and quality outcomes.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Over 10 years of experience in software quality engineering, automation engineering, SDET, or software engineering.
• More than 8 years of practical experience in designing and implementing enterprise automation frameworks.
• Profound expertise in Selenium, Playwright, Tricentis Tosca, Cypress, Appium, and API automation frameworks.
• Extensive experience with Azure DevOps (ADO), qTest, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps methodologies.
• Strong programming capabilities in Java, C#, TypeScript, JavaScript, Python, or similar languages.
• Experience in implementing automation solutions for web, API, microservices, cloud-native, and distributed applications.
• Solid understanding of Agile, DevOps, Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing, and Continuous Delivery practices.
• Exceptional communication, leadership, consulting, and stakeholder management abilities.
• Home internet connection with a minimum of 25 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload speeds.
• Capability to work from a dedicated space without continuous interruptions to safeguard member PHI/HIPAA information.
