Principal Software Engineer – CRM

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Establish technical frameworks for comprehensive configuration and enhancement of HubSpot across custom workspaces, no-code/low-code interfaces, and AI-driven personalization.

• Act as the technical foundation for a new product challenge.

• Remain updated on AI and coding-agent advancements, quickly prototype, and transform concepts into production-ready features.

• Deliver production code at least 75% of the time.

• Direct architectural vision through practical software implementation.

• Impact around 120+ engineers across various teams and work in collaboration with Product and UX partners.

• Articulate trade-offs effectively and foster organizational consensus.

• Guide engineers and elevate standards for full-stack product innovation and AI-enhanced development.

• Integrate CRM customer requirements into technical decision-making.

• Extensive full-stack product engineering expertise across backend systems and user-facing layers.

• Proven experience in delivering AI-driven product features to production that have significant user impact.

• A product-first approach with experience in developing frequently used products.

• Background in a product-led SaaS organization operating at scale.

• Ideal candidates will have experience with configurability, extensibility, no-code/low-code tools, and AI capabilities.

• Proven ability to deliver production code at least 75% of the time.

• Proficient in rapidly prototyping and converting early-stage concepts into production-ready features.

• Capacity to communicate trade-offs and build alignment within large, cross-functional teams.

• Experience in architectural leadership concerning CRM configurability and extensibility.

• Familiarity with backend systems and user-facing layers.
