📋 Description

• Lead the design and development of our data infrastructure, steering the technical vision and strategy to guarantee scalability, reliability, and performance.

• Act as the subject matter expert in distributed systems and data technologies, complemented by strong software engineering capabilities.

• Design and implement scalable and efficient data systems, storage solutions, and processing frameworks using cutting-edge technologies.

• Propel technical innovation and research to remain at the forefront of emerging data technologies and best practices.

• Mentor and guide a team of skilled engineers, cultivating a culture of technical excellence, collaboration, and continuous learning.

• Work closely with cross-functional teams to comprehend business requirements and convert them into scalable and efficient technical solutions.

• Maintain data quality, integrity, and security throughout the data lifecycle, adhering to industry best practices and compliance standards.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

• Over 10 years of experience in software development or a related field, with at least 5 years in a technical leadership position.

• Proven experience in architecting, delivering, and driving the technical strategy of large-scale data platforms, particularly using cloud computing systems like AWS and deploying via K8s/Terraform/Helm.

• Proficiency in big data technologies such as Clickhouse, Kafka, and Spark, along with a thorough understanding of partitioning, slicing, and dicing big data.

• Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, Bash, and Go, paired with excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

• Outstanding communication and collaboration skills, with the capability to influence technical decisions and foster alignment across teams.

• A history of enhancing engineering standards, mentoring across teams, and impacting organizational technical decisions beyond the squad level.

• A deep commitment to operational excellence, with proven experience in architecting for high availability, observability, and incident response in distributed systems.

• Demonstrated ability to succeed in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and deliver results within tight deadlines.
